Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani reiterated Italy’s support for EU duties on imports of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) from China during a meeting with Chinese Commerce Minister Wang Wentao in Rome on Monday.
“I reiterated to the minister Italy’s willingness to cooperate with this great country, which is an interlocutor but also a competitor on international markets,” Tajani said after the meeting.
“I reiterated Italy’s position on duties on cars – we support the position of the EU.
