Italy Pledges Field Hospitals and Prefabricated Buildings for Gaza Reconstruction

Rome: Italy is prepared to provide field hospitals and prefabricated buildings to assist in the reconstruction of Gaza, Civil Protection Minister Nello Musumeci announced at a reconstruction summit hosted by the government in Rome on Wednesday. Minister Musumeci emphasized Italy’s commitment to supporting the Palestinian population with essential resources.

According to Ansa News Agency, Minister Musumeci stated that the Italian Civil Protection is ready to offer human, material, and vehicle resources to aid the efforts in Gaza. The minister highlighted the capability of setting up a field hospital within days and preparing modular prefabricated houses to accommodate families in the medium term.

Minister Musumeci also mentioned the involvement of a dedicated team of experts during the reconstruction phase of Gaza. This team will collaborate in the planning and design phase to ensure effective rebuilding efforts in the city.
