Italy Celebrates Football Day at UN with Paolo Rossi Exhibition

Italy: Italy celebrates Paolo Rossi at the UN Headquarters. The multimedia exhibition ‘Paolo Rossi, un ragazzo d’oro’ was co-organised by the Italian Representation to the United Nations and the Paolo Rossi Foundation. It was inaugurated in the presence of Marco Tardelli and Federica Cappelletti, who is the president of the FIGC women’s professional Serie A division and the wife of the 1982 World Cup champion who passed away prematurely.

According to Ansa News Agency, the exhibition, which can be visited until 7 June, is part of the calendar celebrating the 70th anniversary of Italy’s admission to the UN. It also coincides with the second World Football Day sanctioned by the General Assembly, which occurs annually on 25 May.
