Italian Man Arrested Near Milan for Alleged Rape and Attempted Robbery
San donato milanese: A 36-year-old Italian man with a criminal record was arrested by police near Milan on suspicion of raping a 20-year-old Italian woman he met on social media during their first in-person meeting.
According to Ansa News Agency, the alleged rapist was apprehended by Carabinieri in San Donato Milanese, where the attack reportedly occurred a few days prior. The woman’s information about the man, who allegedly attempted to rob her at knifepoint, played a crucial role in his identification.
The suspect is currently detained in Milan’s San Vittore Prison following an order from the investigating judge of the Milan Court. He faces charges of sexual assault, attempted aggravated robbery, and possession of weapons or objects capable of causing harm.
