Italian Industrial Production Sees 0.9% Decline in February

Rome: Istat said Thursday that its seasonally adjusted industrial-production index was down 0.9% in February compared to January. The national statistics agency reported this data, indicating a continued downward trend in the country’s industrial output.

According to Ansa News Agency, the index also showed a decrease of 2.7% with respect to February 2024 in calendar-adjusted data. This marks the 25th consecutive year-on-year drop in Italian industrial output, highlighting ongoing challenges in the sector.
