Italian Construction Output at Highest Level Since 2008

Rome: Italian construction output has reached its highest level since July 2008, marking a significant milestone for the sector. Istat reported that the calendar-adjusted index of production in the construction sector rose by 5.2% in July compared to the same month in 2024. This increase represents the seventh consecutive year-on-year rise.

According to Ansa News Agency, the national statistics agency also highlighted a 0.7% increase in construction output in July compared to June, based on seasonally adjusted data.
