Italian Ambassador Engages in Diplomatic and Cultural Activities in Bergen

Bergen: The Italian Ambassador to Oslo, Stefano Nicoletti, met with the Mayor of Bergen, Marit Warnckeera, during the Bergen International Music Festival, which is recognized as Scandinavia’s largest music and performing arts festival. The meeting underscored the cultural ties and diplomatic relations between Italy and Norway.

According to Ansa News Agency, Ambassador Nicoletti also engaged in discussions with the festival’s Artistic Director, Lars Petter Hagen. In addition to his cultural engagements, the ambassador visited the construction site of the Sotra Link project. This project, involving a consortium led by the Italian Webuild Group, is set to enhance the road network between Bergen and Sotra upon its completion in 2027.
