Heavy Rain Forecast for Much of Italy in Coming Days

Rome: A wave of heavy rain that has hit many areas of Italy, especially the regions on the Tyrrhenian coast, is set to continue in the coming days, according to forecasts by Lorenzo Tedici, a meteorologist with the iLMeteo.it website. An intense low-pressure front is expected across western Italy, stretching from Liguria to Sicily.

According to Ansa News Agency, on Wednesday, the most severe weather conditions are anticipated in the Apuan Alps and along the border between Piedmont and Valle d’Aosta. On Thursday, the arrival of cold air will bring heavy rain and strong winds to much of central and northern Italy.
