Gaza-Bombing Survivor Boy Adam to Arrive Wednesday in Milan

Milan: Adam al-Najjar, an 11-year-old Palestinian boy who survived a bombing in Gaza that claimed the lives of his father and nine siblings, is set to arrive in Milan on Wednesday for medical treatment. He suffered severe injuries during the attack and risks losing the use of an arm. Adam will be accompanied by his mother, who is also a doctor, and other family members. They will be part of a group of children from Gaza who are receiving medical care in Italy.

According to Ansa News Agency, Adam will be treated at the Niguarda Children’s Hospital in Milan. The Lombardy regional officials announced his arrival and the arrangements for his medical care. The regional Welfare department has coordinated the children’s admission to various hospitals, including the Policlinico and the Giovanni XXIII hospital in Bergamo.

Regional councilor Guido Bertolaso emphasized the commitment to providing medical treatment to these children. “We confirm, as already indicated to the Government, all our availability to treat these children with a great sense of responsibility,” he stated, highlighting the region’s readiness to assist.
