Four wins, one draw for the 1st league matchday

Three away wins, one draw and one home win were the results of the 1st Cypriot League matchday, in five matches were played on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

According to the Cyprus Football Association, the only home team that managed to win was Omonoia, who beat Ethnikos Achnas 3-0. AEK Larnaca took a 2-1 away win over Apollon Limassol, Aris Limassol took a 3-1 win against Karmiotissa and AEL came away with a 4-2 win over Omonoia 29M. The match between Omonoia Aradippou and Anorthosis ended a draw without goals.

ENP vs APOEL and Paphos FC vs Nea Salamina were postponed and will be scheduled at a later stage.
