FM Szijj¡rt³ Criticizes Brussels for Allegedly Pushing Europe Toward Conflict with Russia

Budapest: Europe’s ‘Brussels-based leadership’ continues to push the continent toward war with Russia, and pro-war forces will try to advance this agenda at the NATO foreign ministers’ meeting, Foreign Minister P©ter Szijj¡rt³ said on Wednesday in Budapest, according to a statement from the ministry.

According to About Hungary, speaking before departing for the NATO gathering, Szijj¡rt³ warned that ‘the fanatical pro-war camp’ is expected to make another attempt to overturn the alliance’s earlier decision – namely, that NATO is not a party to the war in Ukraine, and that every effort must be made to ensure it does not become one.

‘Today the pro-war fanatics will try to consign that previous decision to the past. And we, the pro-peace forces, will work to preserve NATO’s earlier position,’ the minister said.
