Flotilla Says Israel Has Issued a Stop Order

Gaza: The Global Sumud Flotilla for aid to Gaza announced on Wednesday that Israel had issued a stop order off its naval blockade of the Strip.

According to Ansa News Agency, the announcement was made by activists from the Italian delegation. They reported that at 8:25 PM local time (7:25 PM Italian time), Israel issued a stop order to the Flotilla’s boats. The stop order is part of Israel’s enforcement of its naval blockade around the Gaza Strip. The flotilla had been carrying aid with the intention of reaching the coastal enclave.
