Filosa Tours Stellantis Factory in Turin

Turin: New Stellantis CEO Antonio Filosa visited Turin’s Mirafiori plant on Thursday as part of a tour of the Italian-French-American group’s factories. The 52-year-old Neapolitan engaged with workers as he toured various sections of the plant where the electric Fiat 500 is produced, alongside prototypes of the 500 hybrid.

According to Ansa News Agency, Filosa was accompanied by Stellantis’s European chief Jean Philippe Imparato, the group’s world head of human resources Xavier Chereau, and the world head of plants Arnau Debouef. The visit to Mirafiori follows Filosa’s appointment as CEO, which was announced on Wednesday when he commenced his tour at the Peugeot plant in Sochaux, France.

Stellantis, a major player in the automotive industry, oversees a portfolio of brands including Jeep, Peugeot, Fiat, Lancia, Maserati, Alfa Romeo, and Chrysler.
