Expo 2025 Osaka: Slovak President Visits Italy Pavilion on National Day
Osaka: The President of the Slovak Republic, Peter Pellegrini, has visited the Italy Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka during Slovakia’s National Day. He was received by Ambassador Mario Vattani, the Commissioner General for Italy at the Expo.
According to Ansa News Agency, Vattani expressed his delight at hosting President Pellegrini at the Italy Pavilion. He remarked that Italy’s participation in Expo 2025 has been an effective tool of economic and cultural diplomacy, enhancing bilateral relations with numerous partners.
President Pellegrini explored the Italy Pavilion’s diverse offerings, which include culture, high technology, aerospace, life sciences, and innovation. The visit held personal significance for Pellegrini, whose great-grandfather was from the northern Italian region of Trentino-Alto Adige, a connection to Italy he often acknowledges.
The Italy Pavilion, highly regarded and frequently visited by both Japanese and international attendees, continues to serve as a showcase of Italian excellence and a hub for cultural exchange and dialogue.
