Erdogan Expresses Turkey’s Readiness to Host the Olympics

Istanbul: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced Turkey’s readiness to host international sports events, including the Olympic Games, during a speech at the opening ceremony of a UEFA office in Istanbul.

According to Ansa News Agency, Erdogan’s remarks were broadcast on state TV TRT. He emphasized Turkey’s capacity to host such events, highlighting the country’s significant investment in sports infrastructure. The President noted that the number of sports facilities in Turkey had increased from 1,575 to 4,470, demonstrating the nation’s commitment to advancing its sports capabilities.
