Elderly Couple Discovered Dead in Montignoso Home in Suspected Homicide-Suicide

Montignoso: An elderly married couple were found dead in their home in Montignoso, in the Tuscan province of Massa Carrara, on Monday in what investigators suspect is a case of homicide-suicide, sources said.

According to Ansa News Agency, Carabinieri arrived at the crime scene after neighbours sounded the alarm. The incident has raised concerns as Italy faces an alarming increase in femicides, with many cases involving women being murdered, often by their former or current partners.
