Economic Expectations Have Deteriorated – Bank of Italy

Rome: Italian business’s expectations regarding the general economic situation deteriorated further in the fourth quarter of 2024, according to the Bank of Italy’s latest Inflation and Growth Expectations Survey, which was published on Tuesday.

According to Ansa News Agency, the survey indicated a rise in the percentage of companies expressing negative assessments, which increased to 30%, up from 21% in the previous survey. Furthermore, the percentage of businesses that saw an improvement in the economic situation dropped to 5% from 6%.
