Defence Minister Crosetto’s Personal X Account Hacked

Rome: Defence Minister Guido Crosetto’s personal X account was hacked on Thursday, the defence ministry announced after unauthorized posts appeared requesting cryptocurrency donations for Giorgio Armani’s funeral and another for Gaza.

According to Ansa News Agency, the account seemed to be restored to its usual state early on Friday. Minister Crosetto acknowledged the incident in a post that was later deleted, stating, “Yesterday they hacked my X account. It’s as if they could run it at the same time as me.”
