Cypriot elected at International Theatre Institute Executive Council

Christos Georgiou, Director of the Cyprus Centre of the International Theatre Institute, was elected to the 12-member Executive Council and the five-member Executive Board of the International Theatre Institute, in the elections held during the 37th World Congress of the International Theatre Institute from 18 to 23 September.

In a press release on Friday, the Deputy Ministry of Culture, congratulates Georgiou and notes that his election in this position honours and strengthens the position of Cyprus on the international map of theatre and performing arts.
