Cycling: Pogacar Wins Strade Bianche for Third Time

Siena: Slovenian cycling sensation Tadej Pogacar won Tuscany’s Strade Bianche for the third time on Saturday, crossing the finishing line alone in Siena’s Piazza del Campo despite a fall 50 kilometres away from the home stretch.

According to Ansa News Agency, the 26-year-old, who had a torn jersey and some scratches after the crash, managed to recover and catch up with the leading group. Pogacar then pulled away in the closing stages of the race to secure his victory.

Pogacar had previously triumphed in the one-day race last year and in 2022, showcasing his consistent performance in this challenging competition.
