According to Ansa News Agency, Michael Whitbread expressed remorse during his trial at the Lanciano court for the alleged murder of Michele Faiers. The incident occurred on October 29, 2023, in the farmhouse located in contrada Verratti in Casoli (Chieti). Whitbread admitted to the killing and apologized for his actions.
Whitbread, accused of voluntary homicide aggravated by their cohabitation, described Faiers as “obsessively jealous.” He claimed that this jealousy led to physical altercations between them.
