The new on-call system has proven itself and provides greater security, the parliamentary state secretary of the Ministry of the Interior and the vice president of the KDNP said on his Facebook page on Thursday, presenting the most important supply data.

According to Bence Rétvári , more than 901,000 patients have already been treated in the new national, unified emergency system.

Among those treated, 80,000 patients had to be referred for further specialist care or hospital admission, in 85,000 cases only telephone counseling was required, 748,000 patients were treated at the on-call site, and 58,000 patients were visited by the emergency car – he listed.

He added:

the emergency cars have already traveled more than one million kilometers.”

Bence Rétvári wrote that the average duration of the helpline calls on the emergency number 1830 was 2 minutes and 38 seconds.
