Bagnaia Third in Thai Sprint Race

Buriram: Italy’s two-time MotoGP world champ Francesco ‘Pecco’ Bagnaia came third in the opening sprint race of the season in Thailand Saturday.

According to Ansa News Agency, Bagnaia’s new Ducati teammate Marc Marquez clinched victory in the race, finishing ahead of his brother Alex Marquez, who secured the second position on a Ducati Gresini.

The results from the sprint race mean that Bagnaia, Marc Marquez, and Alex Marquez will start in the same positions-third, first, and second respectively-for Sunday’s MotoGP event.
