Average Price of Petrol Falls Below 1.80 Euros in Italy
Rome: The average price of a litre of unleaded petrol at self-service pumps in Italy has dipped below the 1.80 euro threshold for the first time since January 10. The specialist publication QE highlighted this change on Monday, noting a significant development in fuel costs for the country.
According to Ansa News Agency, the price of unleaded petrol has decreased to 1.798 euros per litre, down from 1.807 euros recorded on March 6. This decline marks a noteworthy shift in the pricing trends observed over the past few months.
Furthermore, the cost of diesel has also seen a reduction. The average price at a self-service pump has fallen to 1.703 euros per litre from the previous 1.714 euros. This change reflects the broader adjustments in fuel pricing currently taking place in Italy.
