Arsenal Eyes Move for PSG Forward Barcola Amidst Transfer Speculations

London: Arsenal are interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain’s 22-year-old forward Bradley Barcola. The French national has also caught the attention of Bayern Munich and Liverpool.

According to BBC, Arsenal’s pursuit of Barcola comes as part of their efforts to bolster their attacking options. Barcola, who has showcased his potential in Ligue 1, is a sought-after talent, attracting interest from top clubs across Europe. Meanwhile, Arsenal’s Premier League rivals Tottenham are shifting their focus to Crystal Palace’s 26-year-old winger Eberechi Eze. This move follows Manchester United’s improved offer exceeding £60 million for Brentford’s forward Bryan Mbeumo.

In other transfer news, Juventus is considering a swap deal with Manchester United involving Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic and Brazilian midfielder Douglas Luiz in exchange for English winger Jadon Sancho. Barcelona, on the other hand, is on the verge of securing a deal worth approximately £2 million for FC Copenhagen’s 19-year-old Swedish winger Roony Bardghji.

Elsewhere, Liverpool is set to finalize a deal for Hungary’s 21-year-old left-back Milos Kerkez, who is currently with Bournemouth. Real Madrid is demanding over £77 million for their 24-year-old Brazilian winger Rodrygo, who has been linked to a move to the Premier League.

Additionally, Nottingham Forest has successfully reached an agreement with Juventus for the transfer of United States winger Timothy Weah and Belgian winger Samuel Mbangula for a combined fee of about £19 million. Meanwhile, Middlesbrough is eyeing Aston Villa’s defender Kaine Kesler-Hayden, with competition looming from Southampton and Coventry City.

John Textor, a billionaire businessman, is reportedly considering acquiring Championship club Sheffield Wednesday after selling his stake in Crystal Palace. Other movement in the transfer market includes Millwall’s George Honeyman nearing a move to Blackpool, and former Bristol City forward Nahki Wells dismissing a potential return to Bradford City.

Port Vale is also on the verge of signing Cambridge United goalkeeper Marko Marosi, while Walsall leads the race for Stevenage forward Aaron Pressley. Mansfield Town’s Alfie Kilgour, released recently, is close to rejoining Bristol Rovers.
