‘A Digital Perspective’ Exhibition Unveiled in Belgrade
Belgrade: The Italian Ambassador to Serbia, Luca Gori, inaugurated the ‘A Digital Perspective’ exhibition yesterday. This project, realized by the Italian Cultural Institutes of Belgrade, Bucharest, and Tirana, is curated by Spazio Taverna and features ten Italian and Balkan artists. The exhibition invites these artists to reflect and redefine the relationship between visual arts and digital culture.
According to Ansa News Agency, the collective exhibition includes six Italian artists and four from the involved Balkan countries. The artists explore the contradictions and opportunities presented by new technologies while using traditional and deliberately non-digital techniques for creating their works.
Ambassador Gori stated that the exhibition serves as an innovative cultural diplomacy project aimed at strengthening artistic ties between Italy and the Balkan countries. He emphasized the importance of promoting collaboration between artists from Italy and the region, underscoring the significance of regional cooperation in the Balkans.
