Milan: Italian police have seized 46 million euros from the Italian unit of US-based FedEx as part of an investigation into alleged tax fraud connected to ‘reservoirs of workers’ purportedly employed without benefits. The Economic and Financial Police Unit of Milan’s finance guards executed the emergency preventive seizure, following an order from prosecutors Paolo Storari and Valentina Mondov¬. This action targets the Italian branch of FedEx, a prominent entity in the transportation and express shipping sector, suspected of tax violations amounting to over 46 million euros.
